I started my musical career in 1980,being part of a small band in my home town of Barton-on-Humber in which I sang and played the drums.
Unfortunately the band did not last too long so I taught myself to play the guitar while my uncle Sean learned to play Bass,We formed a band called SOUTHERN PRIDE which turned out to be quite successful.We played clubs up and down the country employing other musicians when they were required.We stayed together for several years before going our seperate ways.
In 1987 I went solo while still retaing my job as a welder.I also turned to songwriting and have written 6 songs with my BATCHELOR DAYS being voted runner up in the u.k. radio awards best new song in 2001.
In 1998 I turned full-time professional into the music business,a decision that I had been thinking about for the last 10 years
